About Us

Our roots run deep and so does our commitment to proudly help build a better tomorrow. Our diverse family of families works hard, doing what we love by safely creating products and relationships that help connect our world.

In 1930, William M. Murphy incorporated Central Pre-Mix Concrete Co. in Spokane, Washington, and started down a fantastic path that helped revolutionize the ever-changing construction industry. The first truck-mounted concrete mixers in the Northwest were put into operation by Central Pre-Mix in 1935. In 1981, CPM entered the asphalt paving business by acquiring Inland Asphalt Company, a locally owned company founded in 1934.

Today, the company's have expanded to locations throughout Spokane, Yakima, Richland, and Coeur d’Alene.
